has recently completed the prototype Talisman UUV (underwater unmanned vehicle) for BAE Systems. One of the latest generation of modular multi-role UUV’s, Talisman is capable of a wide range of maritime operations. The Talisman features an innovatively shaped carbon fibre composite hull produced by Altanet. Also featured are composite internal pressurised compartments housing the electronics systems and payload.

Other projects undertaken by Lola Composites include tooling and design work on the Sikorsky S72 and S76 helicopter, the Astra 2B television satellite, the Fairline Targa 47 roof assembly and the Beagle 2 Mars lander.
